Class of '58 Jefferson High School Class of '58

Jeff Jabbers November 2012

Our class luncheon for November at the reincarnated Yaw’s Top Notch restaurant was a success with twenty (20) classmates and friends enjoying their new expanded menu. The following classmates enjoyed the retro ambiance and cuisine. Mike Hanselman, Pat Fitch, Fred McNabb, Tom Woolcott, Roger Rollins and wife JoAnn, Bonnie Huget, Dick Murdock, Kath Gilbo and husband, Jeff Miller, Bon Baird, Bruce Oitto Bob Eurick, Doug White, Bill Wallace and wife Edwina Bland Wallace, Dick Peterson, Mark Miller, and Don Stepp. We were especially pleased to see newcomers to the luncheon series, Pat Fitch and Doug White.

Doug White is still staying active in his field of Health Care management (PhD in the discipline from U of O) by helping on the Governor’s task force for expanding veteran’s health care to vets in rural Oregon and…. He is slim as ever, and still capable of wearing his letterman’s sweater. A great role model for all of us.

Our Class web site continues to be a work in progress after being hacked and having all of the content disappear. Ancil Nance our webmaster, Lyleth Query Winther, and Roger Rollins have now reconstructed the missing content. In that connection there is a new procedure for accessing the Class List and Memoriam sections. The new “Name” is demo1958The new “Password”is butler96677 Don’t worry about remembering them, as they are listed in the paragraph under the pictures on the home page. The reason for using them when they are openly available is to prevent computer harvesting of names and addresses. So… check out the reconstructed content such as the column on , and look for addition new and reconstructed content in the near Demo Sportsfuture which will include articles on and more Jeff Jalopies classmate interviews by Lyleth Query Winther.

On a sad note we report the passing of beloved classmate Ron Selis. Ron passed away November 24th and leaves behind a wife June, four children, two step children, and ten (10) grandchildren. A memorial service for Ron will be held this coming Saturday December 8th at 4:00 pm in the Wieden + Kennedy building at 224 N.W. 13th Ave. Portland,

On a happier note, here are some pictures from the luncheon at Yaw’s courtesy of Mark Miller.
