Class of '58 Jefferson High School Class of '58

Sad News. Jeff Miller reports that football player extraordinaire, baseball long ball slugger, friend, and beloved classmate, Sam Holteen has passed away. Jeff wasn’t able to provide more details, but as they are received, we will publish them.

Karen Walden Roberts and her husband Norm are contemplating a cruise through New England in the fall, and are looking for some classmates to join them.  When not traveling,  Karen and Norm stay active with their square dancing club. Gee, it seems like yesterday that we were learning the square dance routines along with the rumba, samba and other memorable dances in the Ockley Green gymnasium.  Keep on dancing Karen and Norm. You’re staying in great shape.

Connie Wersch Reynolds reports the Linda Berscheid Chesney and her husband Joe will be hosting garden railroad buffs at their home on June 20th as one stop on the annual Rose City Model Railroad Club sponsored tour of ten garden railroads. Classmates that attended a luncheon at her home in the past were treated to an amazing layout that encompasses both the yard and basement. Tickets to the tour are available at local hobby shops and garden centers, but I am sure any classmates showing up would be given a VIP welcome, sans tickets.

Bonnie Huget Hamilton reports that she will soon be jetting off for a vacation in London and Paris. Bon voyage, Bonnie.  Ayez un voyage sûr mignon, et prenez garde de ces Français et voleurs à la tire parlants lisses.

Lyleth Query Winter reports that several other classmates are eager to join the list of potential luncheon attendees and receive the Jeff Jabbers reports. They are:
